What You Can Do To Fight Patient Dumping

Send a letter, fax and/or e-mail message to your Assembly Member and/or your state Senator asking them to investigate the causes of patient dumping and the reasons why our paid advocates and support services are failing to help severely disabled people to live at home if they so choose. Ask whether they would sponsor a proposed bill to help remedy causal problems. Point them to THIS webpage, http://www.dredf/org/cda/cda_InHom2.html for information as we develop it.

or going direct to the State legislators' pages Include street address and Zip, please.
Write to your local newspapers with letters to the Editor or articles asking for an investigation of the patient dumping problems. Reporters can and will help US discover the root causes.
